My story matters.
Your teacher or an Elder might have given you ideas for a story. Or pick something you saw, did, made, or remember. Then say it out loud like you are telling a friend.
Every story starts with something we notice.

Make it your own
There is no wrong way to tell your story. Start with one thing you remember, saw, felt, or made.
Help when you want it
You can tell or write your story on your own. Ask someone for help whenever you want.
1. Plan my story with Bear
Listen, then say or type a few words. Ask for help if you want.
2. Make my story
Use your notes to tell or write your story. A short story is a good start.
About the microphone
Your browser’s speech service may send audio to its provider to turn speech into text. Story recording also keeps audio in this tab for playback and includes it when you choose Send with a verified classroom link. You can choose Write instead.
Tips for speaking
You can say “comma,” “question mark,” or “exclamation point.” If you see those words instead of a mark, change them when you check your story.
Check my story, then share
Read your story. You can fix words or ask for help before you choose Send.
